Dr. Jesse Toftely
Meet the doctor
Dr. Jesse Toftely grew up in the small town of Pelican Rapids, MN. At a young age, he realized dentistry was the perfect career, one that combines a heart for helping others, love of working with his hands, and his passion for technology and science. Growing up, Dr. Toftely helped to manage his father’s plumbing company and it taught him the impact that a self-owned business can have on a local community. He hoped to one day own a business himself.
He obtained his undergraduate degree in biology at Hamline University in St. Paul, MN. He then earned his dental degree from Western University College of Dental Medicine. After dental school, Dr. Toftely pursued advanced training as a dental resident through NYU Langone at A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health to hone his skills in dental implants, extractions, and advanced dentistry.
For years Dr. Toftely has dreamed of building his own practice in a smaller community where he could truly connect with his patients on a personal level to provide an individualized dental experience.
Dr. Toftely and spent years planning and laying out a vision for a dental practice that was more like a spa than a dentist office. A one-stop-shop for dental needs for the entire family. Where you'll arrive smiling – and leave smiling. His vision is becoming a reality with Brush Dental Studio.
From cleanings to crowns to cosmetic dentistry Dr. Toftely looks forward to bringing his patient-oriented care philosophy and his residency-enhanced experience to St. Bonifacius, Minnetrista, Waconia and the surrounding communities. When not in the clinic, you can find Dr. Toftely spending time with his wife, Shannon, and in “Dad mode” with daughters, Eleanor (4) and Emilia (2). Dr. Toftely enjoys restoring classic cars, camping and hiking, and traveling.
He is a member of several professional organizations including the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the American Dental Association (ADA). He considers himself a lifelong learner and participates in regular continuing education events, including a monthly study group (Spear), conferences, and volunteering opportunities.
